B: Owange Mwami Mukasa. (Mr. Mukasa [calling him])
A: Wangi Ssebo. (Yes, sir.)
B: Njagala ombuulire kye tunaasobola okulya leero. Ekyennyanja, oba nnyama? (I want you to tell me what we may eat today. Fish or meat?)
A: Nze nti nsinga kwagala kyannyanja. Ndowooza ekyo kye tunaalya. (I like fish better. I think that's what we should eat.)
B: Tulidde nnyo ebyennyanja mu wiiki eno. Lwaki tetulya ku nnyama? (We've eaten so much fish this week. Why don't we eat some meat?)
A: Anti bw'ogula ennyama, ndowooza onoogula ya mbuzi. (When you buy meat, I think you should get some of goat.)
B: Olya ennyama y'embuzi? (Do you eat goat?)
A: Eee, etera okumpoomera! (Oh yes, I often find it delicious!)
B: Naye nze njagala nnyama ya nte. (But I like beef.)
A: Tokimanyi nti neddira Nte? (Don't you know that I belong to the Cow clan? [hence he's to avoid eating beef])
B: Ooo! Oli wa kika kya Nte? (Oh, you belong to the Cow clan?)
A: Yee, ssebo. (Yes, sir.)
B: Kale nja kugula nnyama ya mbuzi. (Ok, I'll buy goat's meat.)
A: Weebale nnyo. (Thanks alot.)
B: Kale ssebo. (Ok, sir)
