B: Enkoko eno ebadde nnungi! Mwagiguze wa? (This chicken was good. Where did you buy it.)
A: Twagiguze wa. (Oh, we bought it somewhere.)
B: Kale ebadde nnungi! (Truly, it’s good!)
A: Weewaawo. (Indeed.)
B: Ewaffe mu Amerika enkoko za bbeeyi nsaamusaamu. (At home in America, chickens sell at a very fair price.)
A: Wano baziseera nnyo. (Here they sell them at a very expensive price.)
B: Ewaffe e ddoola bbiri oyinza okufuna enkoko. Eddoola emu erimu ssiringi nkumi essatu mu bitaano. (At home for two dollars, you can get a chicken. One dollar is three and half thousand shillings.)
A: Wano ewaffe , eri ku mutwalo gumu mu enkumi ttaano eza ssiringi. (For us here, it is ten thousand five hundred shillings.)
B: Ooo! Nga baziseera. (Oh! How they sell them expensively!)
