A: Ova wa? ♫ (Where are you from?)
B: Nva Bukoto, ye waffe. ♫ (I come from Bukoto, our home.)
A: Ye wammwe? ♫ (Your home?)
B: Mmm. ♫
A: Olinayo omukyala? ♫ (Have you a wife there?)
B: Yee, ninayo omukyala n’abaana basatu. ♫ (Yes, I have a wife there with three children.)
A: Ooo. Nga kirungi! ♫ (Oh. That’s good!)

T: Kati oyambala? ♫ (Are you now dressing?)
S: Nedda, nayambadde essawa emu. ♫ ( No, I dressed up at 7am.)

T: Oyiga oluganda kati? ♫ (Are you now learning Luganda?)
S: Nedda, siyiga luganda kati, njiga kubala. ♫ (No, I am not now learning about Luganda, I am learning about mathematics.)
