Mu kibiina kino mulimu entebe nnyingi? ♫ (In this classroom are there many chairs?)
Temuli ntebe nnyingi, mulimu entebe emu yokka. ♫ (There are not many chairs inside, there is one only.)

Ku mmeeza eno kuliko ekitabo kyange? ♫ (Is my book on this table?)
Nedda, tekuli. ♫ (No, it’s not there.)

Engatto zange ziri kumpi n'oluggi? ♫ (Are my shoes near the door?)
Nedda, teziri. Ziri mu kisenge kyo. ♫ (No, they are not there. They are in your room.)

Ekooti yo ogyambadde nga ogenze eka? ♫ (When leaving for home, did you put on your coat?)
Nedda, sambadde kooti yange. Eri mu kibiina. ♫ (No, I didn’t put on my coat. It’s inside the classroom.)
