Goat and Goose

[Materials - Two large balls and one smaller ball (can be made out of local materials)]

To begin, form a circle. The large balls are goats. The smaller ball is a goose. The object of this fast paced game is to tag the child holding the goose ball with one of the goat balls. Pass the goat balls from child to child, around the circle, as quickly as possible. The goats can go around the circle in either direction. If you want, you can pass a goat back to the person who just gave it to you. As you know, geese can fly and jump. So the goose ball can be passed to a neighbour or thrown across the circle to another child. You'll want to pass the goose as soon as you get it because those goats are coming your way really fast. For more fun: If you want the game to get really wild, the children should call out "goat" or "goose" every time they pass a ball.
