S: Bulungi, Nnyabo. (It went well, Madame.)
M: Mmm.

M: Ova wa Ssebo? (Where do you come from?)
S: Nva mu Amerika. (I come from America.)
M: Ooo! Oli Mumerika. (Oh, you are American.)
S: Mmm.
M: Ova mu kitundu ki mu Amerika? (What part of America are you from?)
S: Nva mu Boston, najja kuno kusomesa. (I’m from Boston, I came here to teach.)
M: Ooo! Oli Musomesa. (Oh, you are teacher.)
S: Mmm.
