B: Ova wa? (Where are you coming from?)
A: Nva mu Buddu. (I come from Buddu.)
B: Ova mu Buddu? (You come from Buddu?)
A: Mmm.
B: Erinnya lyo ggw'ani nnyabo? (What is your name, madame?)
A: Erinnya lyange nze Namukasa. (My name is Namukasa.)
B: Namukasa?
A: Mmm.
B: Baakuzaala wa? (Where you raised up/born?)
A: Banzaalira Buddu eyo. (I was born there in Buddu.)
B: Kaakati ogenda wa? (Now where are you going?)
A: Kaakati ŋŋenda Jinja okulaba ku baganda bange. (Now I am going to Jinja to see my sisters.)
B: Mmm.
A: Mmm.
B: Baganda bo babeera Jinja? (You sisters stay in Jinja?)
A: Yee, eriyo baganda bange babiri gye baafumbirwa. (Yes, my two sisters there are married.)
B: Ooo!
A: Mmm.
B: Naawe oli mufumbo? (And you, are you married?)
A: Nedda, sinnaba kufumbirwa. ( No, I’m still not married.)
B: Mmm.
A: Mmm.
